1. Luxury

Forget about exotic destinations. If you are looking for luxury travel that pampers your body and soul: go North! Countries like Denmark and Sweden are beautiful, but they look even better during Fall! Expect long coastal lines, sandy beaches, fresh air and long forest walks. Treat yourself to a few days of pure relaxation, luxury and pampering, where you will have nothing to worry about besides what treatment in the spa to pick.
Obvious choices for spa retreats in Denmark could be: Kurhotel Skodsborg, Helenekilde Badehotel and Gilleleje Badehotel. In Sweden, opt for Ystad Saltsjöbad, Selma Spa or Tylösand.

2. Culture

Jordan is a destination who is often not granted its full attention and potential. All though Fall is here, Jordan is located in the middle east which means, the weather is still nice and sunny. The country has a lot to offer, for example the ancient city of Petra, which is still a hidden gem amongst most travelers. Petra, which dates from around 300 years B.C., is build and carved out of cliffs and rocks – a quite astonishing view! Being present on the list of the ‘New 7 Wonders of the World’, Petra is magnificent and quite incomprehensible as well. A must-see for any globetrotter out there!

3. Sun

There is one place in the world where visitors are always guaranteed sunny weather all year round! Welcome to Dubai! The temperatures here are way too high during Summer, which makes Fall the perfect time to visit the city, whose foundation is a desert. Dubai has so much to offer. From magnificent architecture, great shopping, Arabic culture and gourmet restaurants to long, sandy beaches and some of the best hotels in the world. To put it short: life is made simple for people visiting Dubai.  Visit the Old Town and their souk where you can buy authentic Arabic goods, have dinner in a different world cuisine every night, go sand bashing in the dunes of the desert and, last but not least, enjoy the view from some of the sky scrapers in Dubai. You will find a very vibrant nightlife here as well!

4. Shopping

New York City. I can’t think of a better time a year to visit the Big Apple than during Fall season. Fall comes a little later in New York than in Northern Europe, which means that in the month of October, you will still be able to wear t-shirts outside. Fall in New York means long walks in Central Park, which is covered in beautiful, colored leaves and of course Halloween, which equals for other fun experiences. Stroll around the city, do some shopping and make time to see the recently opened Freedom Tower as well. The possibilities are endless, there is so much to do and see here – New York is always a good idea!

With an increasing number of destinations worldwide offering adventure holidays, there is still one destination stealing the price: Iceland. Board a plane, take in the astonishing landscape and get ready to be blown away. Many travelers coming to Iceland, often refer to the destination as one of their most memorable ones, and there is a very good reason for that. Iceland offers some of the world’s most incredible natural wonders; volcanoes, geysers and blue lagoons. And let us not forget the national parks! Icelandic people are known to be very kind and easy-going, but the best part? It is easy to get there from almost any major destination in Europe.
